With one of today’s extremely powerful sub-ohm tanks, you can almost watch the level of e-liquid drop as you vape.

Owning a large sub-ohm tank means that you’ll consume e-liquid more quickly, and consuming e-liquid quickly means that you’ll spend more on vaping if you purchase a large sub-ohm tank.

Vapour production vs. flavour

Is flavour quality more important to you than vapour production? If it is, you may want to buy a sub-ohm tank that’s not designed for cloud chasing. The tanks that have the biggest air vents often produce the biggest clouds. Introducing extra air into the vapour path helps to improve cloud production, but it also dilutes the flavour.

You can lower your device’s wattage and close your tank’s vents partially to reduce the airflow and improve flavour quality. If you’re going to do that, though, you might be better off buying a moderately sized sub-ohm tank instead. Cloud chasing isn’t for everyone.
