Vaping prescription for Australians

If you are a customer of ours and living in Australia, you may have become aware of the changes in Australian legislation happening at the moment.
The New Law states that from 1 October, you will require a prescription to be allowed to continue purchasing your products from us here in New Zealand. Fear not, however, as we will still have your requirements covered.
Are they banning nicotine imports "No"
There are some steps that you will need to take to continue buying as you need. As mentioned, from 1 October, you will be required to use an online registration system to request a prescription giving you the authority to purchase your own nicotine e-liquid or products from overseas.
This is a similar process to how governments protect the sale of other controlled substances. Also, you will be required to use a system such as providing proof of your prescription to clear your purchased items through Australian customs.
We are working hard to find the most simple solution to how this will work to make it as easy and smooth as possible. It is most likely you will simply have to send us a copy of your prescription or upload on check out, and we can keep it on file and attach it to all of your orders, so you don't have to worry.
These systems are still in the rollout phase, and once we are sure of the specific requirements regarding presenting your prescription as proof of authority, we will update you again to keep you in the know.
24 hours to receive your prescription
We're recommending QuitClinics. to help our customers access valid prescriptions for their nicotine needs and maintain their harm reduction strategy. Quit Clinics is registered with ATHRA (Australian Tobacco Harm Reduction Association) and has authorised Australian doctors specialising in nicotine prescriptions. Quit Clinics turnaround timeframe is typically within 24 hours, and if they're unable to help, they will provide a full refund.
Use code: AUG10 for 10% off your consultation fee.
Prescriptions cannot be backdated and can only be dated from the date of consultation. We recommend getting a prescription as soon as possible to make sure you are covered.
If you fail to provide a valid prescription, a worst-case scenario maybe that incoming vape packages will be held by custom officers in Australia, who will then contact you to provide a valid prescription (under the personal importation scheme) for your parcel to be released. If you do not have a valid prescription, you may be open to your parcel being destroyed and/or penalties under Australian law; therefore, buyer beware.
