How Laybuy works?

At this time, Laybuy can only accept payments on orders from a nominated debit or credit card which was issued in your country of residence that is loaded on your Laybuy account.

We are not able to accept foreign issued cards for overseas banks, prepaid cards or bank transfers to settle any payments due on your account. 

If the card on your account has expired or has been cancelled for any reason, please be sure to log into your Laybuy account and navigate to the Saved Cards section, here you can add a new card or edit the details of an existing card.

We understand that life can throw a few curve balls from time to time. If you find yourself unable to reasonably keep up your Laybuy repayments, we have dedicated Customer Support and Hardship teams who are on hand to help provide options.

A period of financial hardship is often temporary and, given time, most customers will overcometheir financial difficulties.

If your card has been lost or stolen, please make sure to contact your Card Issuer or bank as soon as soon as you can to ensure your account is secured.

We also have a new feature that allows you to pause up to 5 orders payments for 2 weeks. Please note that this would need to be done straight away as once your instalments decline the system won't allow you to do this.

After your order has been confirmed: Your payment schedule is confirmed as soon as you click Complete Order and pay the initial payment. Laybuy are unable to move your payment unless you need a hardship repayment arrangement. 

Before you confirm you order: Laybuy has a built in feature of which you can change your payment date for the following five instalments before confirming your purchase with us. You will see this drop down box before confirming your order.

When a payment for an installment fails, we send you an email to let you know straight away that this has failed.  The payment will then be attempted again 24 hours later and if this fails, a late fee will be applied. If this installment remains unpaid for a further 7 days, another fee will be applied.
